Djoy Posted December 1, 2003 Report Share Posted December 1, 2003 Has anyone had this problem? or any suggestions Wifes 1990 model 80 (120K miles)sometimes feels like it wants to stall out after about 1.5 to 2 miles but not every day. Audi service has vhecked out fuel pump gas line etc., says cant find any problem Tried switching fuses, no help Engine runs smooth n fine before and after, and it restarts easily after the stall. Sven Posted December 7, 2003 Report Share Posted December 7, 2003 I'm thinking about a fuel pump relay primarily (as I don't see you mentioning an ignition/power cut). Can't tell you exactly which one that is on an 80... Oh, the test results can be tricky on these things, cause when they work they check out okay... (A friend's car kept us busy for weeks that way).
