Duffy3074 Posted January 10, 2008 Report Share Posted January 10, 2008 Anybody any idea on how long the engine and gearbox ECU's on a facelift D2 S8 take to lose all their information after they've been disconnected from a power source? My car was in for it's LPG kit and the battery went flat during the process and the cars rough on petrol and the gearbox seems all over the place compared to before.... Thanks again! Duffy3074 Posted January 11, 2008 Author Report Share Posted January 11, 2008 problem found, the LPG kit tried to take it's RPM signal from one of the coil packs, this didn't work for the LPG ECU and it was getting an intermittent signal and it managed to fargle the coil pack as well. The current ECU and loom is coming out over the weekend and an alternative going in. It's never straightfoward with these things is it? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
