Sick

Not as in

But sick as in that's how they will feel at about 10 pm tonight, beaten again by Arsenal.

One day Spurs hope to be a big club tongue.gif

No doubt the game will be good, but it's the seniors at Arsenal mixed in with the kids tonight so they really don't have much of a chance.

1-3 With Arsenal taking the final spot (again) grin.gif

Oh, hard luck tongue.gif

Have a trophy.............

Spurs 1st team versus Arsenal Junior Reserve team with a few of the senior players.

To be expected (unfortunately), but it is only the Mickey Mouse Cup............

[/ QUOTE ]

Firstly, the 'junior' bit. Gallas is 30 and Gilberto, who is a Brazilian world cup winner by the way, is 31. Sagna is almost 25, Hleb is almost 27.

As for the 'reserves' part. As previously mentioned you had Gallas, Diaby, Hleb, Gilberto, Walcott and Fabregas, on for about 75 minutes. Then Eduardo and Adebayor too.

I count 8 AT THE LEAST who would be in your 16 man squad every week. Probably would have had more had it not been for the African Cup.

Wenger's terrible attitude in the wake of defeat really has rubbed off on you gooner fans.

SPURS ARE ON THEIR WAY TO WEMBLEY!!!!!!!!

I thought he might have been a little more gracious but it seems the footy managers lot these days to ignore reality in the name of supposedly maintaining the morale of the squad. Shame really as they could learn a lot from the best RL coaches (who were seriously successful). It was more common for them to admit the team were rubbish on Sat/Sun and then have them in for training at 7am the following morning - rare that it didn't work!

However, well done to the (so far) mute Ramos. If he can replicate the Sevilla experience then Spurs could be a team to fear in any cup comp - unfortunately he does suffer a bit from Benitezism (and he is very much a copy of Valencia era Rafa). He has even got Jenas playing like a good footballer EEK2.GIF

Bendtner and Adebayor.

I was only listening to radio commentary, but sound like Bendtner started it. Gallas had to split them up. Handbags really - ref just had a strong word, no cards.

[/ QUOTE ]

Funny that - Bendtner does seem to kiss the line between confidence and stick one on him arrogance - shame he's a footballer as he can get away with it. In the odd ball game (or to some extent at a lesser club) he'd either have to be pre lazy/injured/nightclub Ronaldo good or he'd be 'educated' - and would be all the better for it either way.
