JasT
I missed those posts Since when did it change from congestion charge to an emissions tax?
Decked
I'm more worried about this low emmisions Zone.... But I do agree it's a bit steep! It will stop some people, but people like my parents will just go out and buy another car! that's all they have done, so rather than having 2 cars they have 3, 2 Chelsea tractors and a small engined car. That can only make things worse imo.
RedRobin
....Are you not aware that Mr Hitler spelt his name "Adolf", not Adulf. This is being more fully discussed: TSN DISCUSSION HERE
ljb32
The low emmissions zone only effect lorries and big deisel vans at the moment. It is completely seperate to the conjestion charge! The CJ zone (http://www.tfl.gov.uk/tfl/roadusers/congestioncharge/whereandwhen/) currently cost £8 a day per car but in a few months it will be £25 per day for any engine kicking out more that 225p/k. A standard 3.2 v6 engine is 265 p/k. The new S3 however is below this limit!!! ummm :-)
