Im looking to get some exra power to the 3.2 V6 without spending very much money! Does anyone reccomend anything? At present it has no modifications what so ever

The low emmissions zone only effect lorries and big deisel vans at the moment. It is completely seperate to the conjestion charge! The CJ zone (http://www.tfl.gov.uk/tfl/roadusers/congestioncharge/whereandwhen/) currently cost £8 a day per car but in a few months it will be £25 per day for any engine kicking out more that 225p/k. A standard 3.2 v6 engine is 265 p/k. The new S3 however is below this limit!!! ummm :-)

Are you all aware that Ken Livingstone has now changed the conjestion rate and any emmissions over 225 P/k will cost £25 per day to drive through London!!!

I live in Central London so rarely get that feeling anymore!

The guy who changed them is a VW/Audi mechanic and he said that they never put copperslip on the back of any brakes! Cheers for your help guys! Sure something there will dot he trick! Also I have not done any engine mods so far, what it the cheapest and most effect change to make the 3.2 v6 a little sharper?!!? :-)

Standard pads for the car, nothing special. Will try the hard breaking then will try the jet wash. If all fails will try the copperslip. Its jsut sounds really bad, someone said its the pads vibrating hance why the coperslip is a good idea! Im no mechanic so any info helps!

Hey guys, for the past 1000 miles my A3 3.2 v6 has got some squeeky brakes. I recently got some new pads and disks fitted but they stil squeek! Someone has recommended putting a small amount of Copperslip on the back of the brakes. Can anyone confirm if this is a good idea? If not any other ideas? O yea, then only seem to make a noise when slowing down from about 15MPH

I have a 2004 A3 3.2 V6 and the breaks have been squeeking for the past 1000 miles. I recently got new pads and disks fitted and it is still squeeking. It only seems to happen when slowing down from about 15MPH. Any one got any ideas??
