Stuck on Call of Duty 4 (PS3)

Have a couple of days of at the moment, and once I been through the chores left by my wife , I've been trying to work my way through COD4.

It really is an exceptional game, and I'm luck enough to be able to play it on a 72" Hi-Def projector screen, with full surround sound.

I think I've got a fair way through the game, but am now stuck on the level where I've just blown up 4 tanks, and need to get back down the hill to the LV to get airlifted out before the time runs out.

I either seem to run out of time, or get taken out by the numerous attackers on the way through - any ideas?

Sprint as much as possible?

run as fast as you can shooting indescriminantly - you should make it after a couple or three goes!

I did it on the 360 recently and found just laying down the air strikes where you want to run and run like hell.

On the 360 you get check points at the houses you run too, I just broke it down into smaller sections and perserved (sp)

Yes, I was heading left, which was the problem!!
