Nelson_R32
I've got Insurance Certificates in my 'files' dating back to 2004. My question is, do I still need to really keep them? And how long do you keep records of insurance/MOT/Tax for?
962C
You clearly never keep a car long enough to need an mot, but I personally would keep all mots and tax discs for the service history. Insurance wise, I used keep this years and last years, and bin the older ones (bar any no-claims certificates of course!)

Rustynuts
Given that someone can claim personal injury compensation for an accident up to 3 years ago, that's the minimum amount of time I'd be keeping my insurance details.
