cabby
I need to remove several old number plate fixing stickers (black foam type) that have accumulated when I change the number plates. Is there anything I can use to breakdown the sticky stuff (tech. term) without damaging the paint ?
CactusGreen
WD40 as you pick them off....
Maxyboy
I used a touch of white spirit last week, bit of rubbing and hey presto.
wyliss
Use a hairdryer to soften the tape and then pull it off.
bpsmith
A combination of all the above is usually what is required. WD40 is surprisingly good at removing sticky residue but it sounds like yours is more of the stuck fast type which will need the hairdryer first.
