I'm just about ready to do a full valet on my S8, but I need to do some repair work on an arch scrape (through to metal I think), some scratches to the boot, a crack in the paint on the rear bumper and a small dent in the passenger door above the handle. So first of all, how do I go about finding out what colour my car is? It's silver, but I'll need to be more exact to get touch-up paint I think. What primer/paint/lacquer is advisable with the S8's metalwork? Does anyone have a link to a good how-to for this kind of repair (especially with regards to the S8's aluminium)?
