wet floor

Hi i have a 1999 v5 golf 5 door, when i was washing it today i saw water rshing in the pasenger door at the hight of the top of the windscreen, i have also had it once before last year in realy heavy rain, i presume its the door seal is worn. is there any way to save it or do i need to buy a new one. is there any drains to clean that might help, i noticed water rushing out the drai infont of the door when i opened it to look inside. thanks
