RedRobin
....Better pics to follow in due course :- Well, the TSN new software has ridiculously limited file upload sizes so I won't bother posting this here.
petsy
maybe link it to your "other" gti forum posting... btw I too have reservations on this new vBulletin version especially the lack of forum jumping via the drop down menu at the bottom of the page. burble
I'm getting a few OSIR bits for my .:R32 once my leg is fixed. I live only about 30 miles from the TT Shop so they'll be getting the front chin spoiler, rear valance and maybe the interior stripes as I don't like the standard silvery bits. Snoopy
Best to just open a free www.photobucket.com account for hosting photos. That way if theres a forum crash at anypoint you don't loose them off the net. I miss the smileys or have i just not found them yet? Robin, on your many visits to other forums have you read any wispers of when the mk6 is out?
RedRobin
Hi Snoopy - I haven't heard anything that I'd call reliable. Word on the street and in the showrooms says the 'ordinairy' Mk6 in 2009 and I guess that means the Mk6 GTI likely to be within a year of that time. However, I've heard several matching rumours that the Mk6 will be more of a Mk5-and-a-half with bodystyling similar to the Mk5 and not such as big a change as between previous Mk Golfs. I've no idea about drivetrain/mechanicals. Either way, the Mk5 GTI/Ed30/R32 will be a hard act to follow imo. I've already got a Photobucket account (private) but the new TSN software isn't accepting anything other than miniscule image sizes.
