Fergy Posted April 13, 2008 Report Share Posted April 13, 2008 Just noticed a issing or kettling sound from the rear of the car (MkV). It is noticeable from inside when idle (the engine note hides it when on the move). Traced it to the haldex area at the rear of the car. Fergy Posted April 14, 2008 Author Report Share Posted April 14, 2008 Yep deffo the Haldex area, and when in the car from below the rear seat Had the car to the garage this morning and after 45 minutes they have diagnosed a faulty fuel pump! 2 major probs in 2 weeks of ownership and only 200 miles covered.
