That car is a bargain! :o

I would think that being in the trade you would know that it is not a bargain. No dis-respect to the vendor but no one wants S4's anymore - I know I've got one and I'm dreading the experience when I decide to sell it.

Trade(ish) price for a retail sale (with warranty) could be perceived as a bargain I guess!

Regarding desirability I would love to keep it but makes no sense to have it sat on the drive while I'm working away, although as the price reduces the emotional side of the decision carries more weight. If it doesn't sell then I'll be keeping it for occasional blats and get rid in a few years when we run out of oil!

By the way, no dis-respect but if you don't want your car why do you still own it? :D

I still enjoy driving it too much to sell it and they make £1-2k behind a book figure that has already been hammered. That's my rationale for keeping it. Plus I've aligned my car tax dates so that it only goes to the £455 and odd figure in March 2010. Hopefully by then, oil would have calmed down. Otherwise it will be worth £5k tops.

I genuinely hope you sell it as they offer strong performance for the money and are very strong. I doubt we will see many news cars like that again.
