cruiser647
Your brother is an IFA and your brother in law is an estate agent...? Something fishy going on here. Reckon you're on a percentage... If not, get on a percentage pronto!
Tipex
Your brother is an IFA and your brother in law is an estate agent...? Something fishy going on here. Reckon you're on a percentage... My parents are both estate agents too! All comes in handy as they find and manage all my properties for me, and my brother sorts out the mortgages, just need the rest of the family learn a few trades and we''ll be sorted! Having a big family has it's uses!

_Tone_
Meet Tipex, everyone - senior member of teh Eastbourne mafiosa LOL! Ben nice one - I don't know what we gonna do but we can simply change our current house to BTL with curret lender by paying yet another .5%. We may have to rent it out but whilst our house wont be ready until Feb we have some time. It dont stop some people worrying about it though!! Good luck with the new house though mate.. Tipex
It's always such a relief once it's all signed sealed and delivered, and you take possesion of the keys! Moving house is one of the most stressfull things you can do, unless your family do it all for you of course!
shark_90
And I imagine it's easier when the other people in the chain have the threat of going swimming with the fishies

Mook
Moving house is one of the most stressfull things you can do What is the most stressful part of it though? Negotiating the deal? Solicitors feckin about? Mortgage companies feckin about? Waiting to exchange contracts? The actual moving your stuff? For me, it's always been the bit in the middle - moving in is great
cruiser647
For me, it's always the exchange. Luckily, I always use the same solicitor and he's been a god send. Thorough and quick with it. No problems getting intouch with him and he returns calls!
shark_90
Excellent! And breathe. Is the new place in Worksop? No mate, moving to Mansfield. Transport links will be easier (particularly for MrsShark as she can't get to work from Worksop on public transport and she doesn't drive at the moment) and we'll be close to town which will be great for her when she's on maternity leave
theduisbergkid
Moving house is one of the most stressfull things you can do, unless your family do it all for you of course! Compared to getting planning permission then extending your house while in dispute with neighbours its a walk in the park
Tipex
Ahh, thats where the rest of the family would come in handy you see, my uncle would build it, and my grandmother is a county councillor (used to be mayor) so getting the planning approved wouldn't be a problem either... Then my brother could go round and 'sort' the neighbours out. (when he gets out!) Edited October 27, 2008 by Tipex
