For the first time I've actually got a car in the drive that I'd like to keep looking as stunning as it did when we picked it up. I've got a solid black XF and after some dithering decided to go for the Supaguard on it anyway. Now, how the HELL do I clean it?

As you would normally mate:

Rinse/Pre-Wash

Wash with Lambswool mitt and 2 buckets (one with a grit guard) using a decent shampoo such as Duragloss 901.

Rinse

Pat Dry with a Waffle Weave towel.

I can elaborate much more and advise on other products should you wish?

The supaguard should have come with a maintanence pack. Use this as per the instructions. You can't effectively add other brand products on top of sealants like this as they generally don't bond properly. If it were me? I'd remove it, and put something better on, such as Zaino or Jetseal 109. That way, you can have a play about with different finishes. The problem with diamondbrite, supaguard etc is that they lock in whatever is on the unprepped paintwork, so if it's swirled, or not properly cleaned at point of application, you are going to see that until the product wears off.

I think Ahaydock has pretty explained the cleaning process as good as u can get!

IF your wanting to get back a bit of extra zing after washing and drying consider getting Pinnacle Souveran Liquid Spray Wax. One squirt on an MF, then one squirt per panel, 2 on large ones and spread. No hazing, no dust and idiot proof. Then take a clean MF and buff to a high luster shine. Effects last about 3 weeks, great product totally not discussed or recommend enough!
