Air to water

Has anyone any experience on the Air to Water heat pump system for heating their house? Im building a new house at the minute and im looking to make it as 'green' as possible and avoid oil or gas. If anyone has any opinions on this id appreciate it

if you want to make your house green shouldnt you concentrate on insulation?

I think the majority of "green" kit for the home at the minute has a larger environment effect at the factory than the saving it gives during its lifetime in the home.

I may be wrong, but havent read anything thats "really green" yet.
