DanG Posted June 4, 2008 Report Share Posted June 4, 2008 Anyone else having an issue with this? I downloaded from the US Store, but have a UK copy of the game and it refuses to work. Quick search says that the map pack is region coded!!? and therefore will not work with the UK game (which I though was not region specific). Mine downloaded, went to set up, finished.... It is supposed to be region free, but isn't. Not much you can do other than download the UK version and ring Sony Store and explain, they will refund the money. Mostly this has been happening to people who bought the game off eBay and ended up with a US copy without realising. When they bought the UK map pack (as you would rightly do) they ended up in the same situation as you. A simple solution would be to put you in touch with my mate who falls into category 2.
