Merlot
Sorry its not going mate. Mileage affecting it? I would presume it would trade at about £20k?
18ME
Glass's is approx £21500 trade mileage adjusted, although this would be a bit more due to the extras. I think its hard everywhere hence lack of interest but I only advertised on Pistonheads until this week and I've dropped it to £23500 from £25000 and have put it on Autotrader. If you remember it was originally one of the members on here who p/x'd it for an A5 with Harrogate Audi and they gave £24500 apparently for it less than 6 months ago when I purchased it from them. 18ME
I'm getting a sense of deja vue!! You mean because of the trouble selling my old S4?

18ME
Well, at least I do stay with Audi (mainly) although I do occasionally try other brands but keep coming back. Price reduced to £22750.

18ME
Congrats.... what next Just waiting for the cheque deposit in the post which should be tomorrow. As soon as that's sitting in my bank then I'll get the plates sorted at DVLA and then I'll start looking for another car. It will definately need to be about 1/2 the price of the S4 (until this credit crunch starts getting better) and preferably be a diesel and have a good spec. Something like an A3 sportback perhaps. Merlot
Why not a 2.0TDi Quattro A4 Avant - should be in budget as a B6. Much bigger boot than a Sportback and proper quattro. Fontain got anything?
18ME
My initial thoughts were a 1.9tdi Quattro Sport Avant A4 B6, the 2.0tdi A4 didn't come out until the B7 so maybe over budget unless I went for an higher mileage or less spec one. The main reason for the A3 Sportback is that my partner doesn't like driving the S4 as she thinks its too big. So if I get something slightly smaller then she'll drive it too and then I can sell the MCS convertible and get a Z4 or Boxster so I can use that too.
