no_idea
Has the pollen filter been replaced recently, these can get wet and cause misting.

MrAvant
Is your Air-con working and does it get cold when placed on the lowest setting?
Biscuits
Had this on our MKIV Golf. Check the outside temperature is reading okay, the sensor on ours was faulty and IIRC every now and then it would read -17 degrees. This causes the compressor (air-con) to switch off and any moisture in the system to come through and steam the car up. Another thing that went wrong was the rear washer hose came off and filled the headlining with water... this caused a horid pond smell and also extra misting. Ahhhh.... that was a good part ex day :D :D :D
