MiguelMcTyson
Sorry guys, I'll settle down and stop being a pain in a week or two. Does the fact I've got a stubby ariel mean I've got a phone prep I can't find or is that just for Nav? Also anyone who got a retro fitted RNS510? Love to hear any and all your comments. JonC
the stubby you have is for the sat nav then, i think the phone prep uses bluetooth not the ariel anyway As far as I'm aware, the factory fitted telephone prep cradle accepts an phone-specific adapter which then links to the Satnav unit and the speakers. I don't think it uses a bluetooth connection; or at least I hope it doesn't as I've recently installed a Parrot system with Multican so I can utilse my mfsw controls. Nelson_R32
Unfortunately factory phone prep wasn't available on the MKV from about 2006 onwards so your ED30 definately won't have it unless you ordered it as an import and specified it. MiguelMcTyson
Cheers guys, I definitely don't have it it seems, but I do have MFSW and I would like a bluetooth system that works with that and the high line and Nav if possible, any ideas, is the skoda unit the way forward, or I have been offered the option of px'ing my current nav unit for the RNS510 and have the bluetooth done at the same time?
