Mook
Welcome to Tyresmoke mac I've never come across that one on an A4 before. Sounds like a loose wire, but there's some electrical whizz kids on here, one of whom will doubtless be along shortly.
ivor2
Hi my wife had a similar problem with her mk5 golf , stopped completely after a while problem was a broken wire running to the motor. motosparkz
Hay oop Mac, Just had exactly the same problem. It will be the motor. Recently ours started to do what you said, then started to fail to park, as it would just stop wherever, figure out this wasn't correct, wipe a few inches, etc, etc Then a couple of weeks ago, it just switched on, & never turned off<S> Got one from Vagparts, special order from Germany, although arrived within 2 days of ordering, & If I remember was around the £80 all in. It tends to be the washer jet, which blocks up due to crap being sucked up the back of the car, & being a great design where the washer jet runs through the middle of the motor, relieves itself inside when the pressure builds up & hey presto...... It won't show up in Vagcom, because the switch & control unit operate correctly. I have seen a few VW's do this, but never an Audi, till ours<S> Cheers, Shane

Jenda
Hi, I am going to have the same issue :-( Wiper just does what it wants. I will check it tomorrow. Seems to me that it might be also wet from the screen washing fluid as nothing is comming out of the nozzle (and it was previuosly) Thanks for the tip with the motor J
Jenda
Hi,I am going to have the same issue :-( Wiper just does what it wants. I will check it tomorrow. Seems to me that it might be also wet from the screen washing fluid as nothing is comming out of the nozzle (and it was previuosly) Thanks for the tip with the motor J Hi, I did try to remove the inner panel, but with no luck. I was hoping that I could inspect the motor to find out what is going on. I can hear little tick (probably relay) but wiper wont move. I removed just portion of it, I unscrewed those 4 screws, unclipped it from the rear door (4 metal clips) but I couldn't take it off completly and therefore couldn't reach the motor. Any tips with this? Thanks J.
