shark_90
A friend of mine has had her car serviced at a small local garage and they couldn't reset her service light. Whenever you turn the ignition on or off it flashes "Service Due!" in the DIS. I have tried to reset the warning using the SRI application in the newest version of VCDS and there were no errors, however the warning has not gone away. I have verified that Measuring Blocks 002 (I think that's the one it is!) on the instrument cluster is displaying "0" (i.e. service NOT due) however the dash keeps on telling me that it is. Anyone got any ideas? Audi have refused to reset it as they didn't service it.
Booster
Why didn't she get the car serviced by Audi???
shark_90
Well I asked the same question, but that doesn't change the situation we're in!
Booster
Very true:grin: Seems a bit daft to fork out for a car like that and not get it serviced by the manufacturer.

Mook
The warranty is not an issue, as long as she's had it serviced by a VAT registered garage and used Audi parts OK, so she's probably saved £40 an hour in labour, but for the sake of £80 and not having to go through the grief of proving everything if I did have to make a claim, I would still get a main dealer to service it, but hey, there's no accounting for women's logic...
