Currys are offering the 5.1 kit that I was going to buy for £150 for £99 if bought with the TV - double bonus! Can someone give me some views on the TV? The PZ8 has only 2 hdmi inputs, no SD card reader, fewer greyscale shades so colour grauation is not as smooth, no x.v colour so it won't pop on HD like the PZ80 and the contrast ratio is 1/3 less. The last one is important as it is the blacks that suffer, so they don't look completely black making the whole image loose depth. I would happily own an PZ80 but would not want a PZ8, even if it were £600 vs a £1000 I would pay the extra. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

As I'm not moving until mid December I think I'll wait to see what the PZ80 comes down to in the sales and then buy. There is a link on their website, you call that number and the underwriters come back to you, you can order online or through the store. Also remember that alot of the retailers are running the Panasonic 5 year guarantee offer too, but not the dixons group stores as they take on all warranty to save money.
