9969 Posted March 31, 2009 Report Share Posted March 31, 2009 Hi I have an Ipod kit fitted into my Passat , which means I can use all the controls through the head unit (which is great), BUT the box it all connects into - behind the dashboard has started to click when it is in use. It sounds like a relay clicking (if that helps). Does this mean my kit is about to die , or is there something I can do to stop the annoying click ? mb Posted March 31, 2009 Report Share Posted March 31, 2009 Well the "good" news is the cables plug into the box so if the box has failed it is a fairly easy replacement. Can't say much more but would be surprised it was clicking as would assume its solid state ? Have only installed one so not a lot of help I'm afraid... May get a better response in ICE section ?
