Audi32
Hi Shark_90 Please find pic of the 3Blue 32 pin connector with the yellow repair cable in Pin 1. Can you advise as to where you normally ground it to as I grounded it just by the centre console. Do you think my car battery maybe weak? Many thanks Jay
shark_90
I usually ground it down near the trim next to the accelerator pedal, there's an earth point there. I really can't see how it's anything to do with your wire in Pin 1... can you perhaps measure the current flow using a multimeter?
Audi32
Sorry but how do I measure the current flow?

Audi32
ok, fixed this issue on Thursday evening. It turned out, as I suspected, the battery. Bought a new Bosch S5007, only 55 pounds, from Costco . Fitted the new battery, earthed the DIS repair wire and car started . As for testing the voltage, I got readings of 0.02volts on the repair wire. This meant the original battery was on its last legs. I'd like to thank Shark_90 for his help and advice. Seriously top bloke
