asd123
As per title, I need to run some wires from the positive terminal on the battery to the boot area. Is there an easy way to do this, either passenger side or drivers. For info the wire is from the supplementary harness kit (22400512RC), which is used to connect to the dedicated tow-bar wiring kit 29010506RC, and allows a fridge and caravan battery to be charged when towing. I have to pull out most of the trim in the boot and by the bottom of the doors on the drivers side, and just under the dash to connect the tow-bar electrics from the boot to the fuse box and CAN-BUS, so is there an easy route there. cheers
asd123
Second try, Does anyone please know of a relatively painless way to run a wire from the positive terminal of the battery (front of the car, under the bonnet/hood, to the rear of the car(boot/trunk), via the bulk head. The car is a Audi A4 Avant Auto B7. If not, can anyone recommend a more "technically knowledgeable" forum Many thanks Jon
maersk
Unless someone tells you different I reckon there is no 'easy' way. The route as you say is along the door bottom trims and through to the boot. There is a thread on here regaarding a boot socket which outlines it. Try search.
