spikeyboy
I have some annoying scuffs on the right hand bolster of the drivers seat - where i slide against the leather getting in and out of the car. What is the best way to cover these up ? seats are black leather. The two options i have though of are: 1) Black Leather shoe polish. 2) Black indelibule market pen. What are you thoughts on these two methods or can you suggest any other options Edited June 9, 2009 by spikeyboy
davyk31
Depends how much of this you want on your white shirt the next time you get in the car !!
steelwind101
Do you have a photo? I suspect you have worn away the finish and if that is the case then you will need to get a staining kit. They can work ok but really unless your up for sanding down the leather, restaining and then sanding and restaining then its probably going to be a real job . JonC
Gliptone Leather Care | Car leather care | Leather upholstery cleaner | offer very good staining fluids depending on the level of wear and which can hide and fill accordingly. Wear on that area can be hugely reduced by getting in and out of the seat carefully. Anyone who sees me getting in and out of my car, must think I have some kind of severe muscular problem
