mcbrj Posted July 24, 2009 Report Share Posted July 24, 2009 We have just bought a 3 year old mini cabrio from a BMW dealer. We had the car about two weeks when we started to have problems starting the car. It would not stall, it just struggled to get going initially. It seemed as if it struggled to get fuel through, in my "have not got a clue about engines opinion". Once it started it there was never another problem, it started like a dream. It seems it is only when we cold started it. We brought the car back for a service, when they gave it back it was still not fixed so we gave it back to them for a 2nd time. Again it was returned but the issue was still there, so we sent it back for a 3rd time and they still have it almost 3 weeks now. it is not all bad, they have given us a Z4 roadster in exchange, but we want our little mini back. Has anyone had this issue or heard of this issue and any idea why it is happening? Your feedback would be greatly appreciated.
