I have owned this car since Aug 05 and it has been garaged all that time and used mainly at weekends only and I have generally only used Optimax.

Equipment: usual kit as fitted to the CD model including cruise control, elec windows/mirrors/drivers seat/glass sunroof, dual climate control; 6-cd multichanger; trip computer; heated front seats; remote central locking; alarm and imobiliser.

Condition: very good

Full service history: Yes - mostly main dealer and some specialists

Mileage: 136,094

at Volvo specialist in Colchester. Total cost £584.09 which included new brake pads all round.

This is genuinely a great car in lovely condition - it does have a few minor (honestly!) bad points:

1) Drivers seat is a little bit worn - it would probably respond well to some TLC with hide food or similar

2) Passenger front electric window - slight fault which means it can only be wound up from the passenger side door button rather than the drivers side.

3) CD player - the multichanger in the boot works fine but the single loader on the head unit won't take CDs.

4) Alloys - the odd bit of scuffing and oxidisation here and there but mostly very good and not bad for a car of this age/mileage.

5) Slightly tatty paintwork around tailgate door handle.

6) Very very small patch of corrosion on bottom of tailgate.

7) ABS/Tracs lights - is illuminated very occasionally - I asked them to investigate at the last service - they suggested a new ABS unit but were unable to get the part by the time I collected the car. If I was keeping the car I would get this seen to if the problem persisted, but its a common V70 problem and according to the various articles on the various Volvo sites it is normally due to mucky connections and its not difficult to remedy.

8) One one key and remote fob.

I will include a set of Paddy Hopkirk roof bars, and two Halfords roof mounted cycle carriers, and a spare offside foglight if the purchaser wants them.
