R32North
I've looked everywhere for a 'Golf' based / sized car cover that is the shape of a golf, etc..... but none! All seem to be small, med or large unless I want to pay £££s for a custom one...... post your findings you you find anything that is Golf like!! Ta!! taz
Finally bought a cover, decided to get it from www.classicadditions.co.uk, rang them up and asked for a cover that fits a golf that can be used on wet/dry cars. the one they sent me cost £93 inc delivery, and it about 85-90 % waterproof. Fits the car pretty well, as its not custom fit there are some saggy bits but im well pleased with it as it does exactly what i wanted keeps all the cr*p of the car..... comes with a cord/clip in the middle that u run under the car and clip on the other side. oh and brilliant service had it the next day !! xcellu8
A good custom-fit cotton car cover is a great way to protect a vehicle that's garaged most of the time. But if your car sits outside, whether in a carport or out in the open, you really need a car cover that's designed to repel water but still allow airflow through the car cover fabric (breathable). I like the ones they have at empirecovers. about half the price of coverking etc. EmpireCovers-Review
jamieg
Sounds pretty dumb really but do these type of covers cause small scratches if used outside, for example it would be rubbing/flapping slightly on a very windy day etc..... even though it's like a fitted item almost?
