jimmya007
Hello all, I've been to my local garage and used the computer thing to get the error code for the airbag light on my A4. "04C1 ignition circuit side airbag drivers side front - maximum exceeded" Does anyone know what the resolution to this would be? they pointed me in the direction of an Audi garage but in this day and age i'd like to fix it myself or get them to do the job for me with some instruction. Cheers Jimmy

PetrolDave
"04C1 ignition circuit side airbag drivers side front - maximum exceeded" Sounds like the connector to the drivers side front airbag has either separated or (more likely) got wet/dirty. jimmya007
Quality, do you know where I would need to look for this switch/connection? I'll try and repair myself then pop into my mates garage and clear the error. Cheers Jimmy

Look for the yellow connectors - that will be an airbag one. DON'T do it with the ignition on though! Or even shortly after having the ignition on, leave it for a few minutes.
