Advice PLEASE on E46 330CD

Ok maybe a long one, I currently own a Audi S3 chipped. I love the car but its getting old as am I, somtimes I feel like the car should be driven by 20-30 year old - plus I have the chance to sell it for ok money.

My choice is a e46 330cd 2005 60k for 12k

so this is were I need help and advice

1. Should I get manuel? I have heard its better on MPG plus faster

2. Should I splash out for one with satnav? some people say its old and not that good

3. Whats the differnece in specs ie SE sport and M sport in the real world?

and the 24million dollar question are they worth the money?
