AudiPartner
So you read the book, WHILST SAT IN THE CAR, do what it says and it doesn't work! I set it how I want, but when I next get in the car, it all changes!! I suspect it may be as the key is programmed with different settings. So forget the book, someone who knows how to do it... please tell me!

The key may be programmed to any of the 4 drivers memory settings... If it were me, I'd get the settings right then set all 4 memories to that position. Then you cant lose. You have to press the memory button and hold a number down probably for a good 5 seconds. There is a click, then after a few seconds a second click from under the seat... If you dont wait till the second click it wont 'take'
IceBlue8
Right - I'll try again. Had my D2 '8 for a couple of years now and never got the seat memory to work! It always goes back to another setting - so I'll give this a go at the weekend

PsYcHe
Hold the memory button, then hold the number down at the same time and listen for clicks.
