Busby
With the imminent purchase of a pressure washer (seehere) I wonder what the best snow foam product is? There also seems to be a myriad of lances to select from. Is there really any difference between them?
Tarmac_Terrorist
I bought the Autobrite HD snow foam lance. Seemed to be recommended by most. As for snow foam, I've not tried more than a couple and there are a lot of different makes. I avoid the citrus / strong ones and look for PH neutral ones as they are kinder to your wax. I only tend to snow foam prior to a full detail or if the car is really manky from winter driving. I think snow foaming the car does have a small detrimental effect on the durability of your wax. As you need to follow snow foaming with a hand wash, it's like washing the vehicle twice form a wax point of view. I'm not saying I don't agree with it because I do - helps to minimise marring and swirling from your wash routine but just something to bear in mind perhaps if you plan to snow up very frequently
Busby
Thanks mate. Trying to be a bit kinder to the car after getting a paint protection detail in the near future and hoping using the snow foam will help.
