ullmanio Posted May 13, 2010 Report Share Posted May 13, 2010 Hi all, Had my 1999 Golf V5 for about 3months now and love it. Recently though I have noticed a kind of 'tapping' noise coming from the engine bay. It only seems to happen at low to idle revs (up to about 2k rpm) and seems to appear more frequently if I make a right turn before I slow down. When the noise is apparent, as I accelerate the noise speeds up with the engine until it gets to about 3-4k rpm and then it disappears. Any ideas?
