IanHo
With the S tronic you can move the gear selector to S which is the equivalent of Dynamic in a car with Drive Select. Don't actually know what you get in manual (without drive select) if anything, must be governed by heaviness of your right foot & how late you change gear! Mo-S3
Not sure why I would need to borrow one as I drive one everyday & I don't think I have a "special" engine in mine! (or were you saying the V8)? (Are there any friendly Audi dealers)?! Sorry i meant Korkster borrow one for a day
Korkster
Sorry i meant Korkster borrow one for a day Hi Mo, I am trying to but it is proving difficult at the moment as the dealer does not seem to have any in stock across their network....therefore now trying to get a S4 or S5 Cab to borrow for the day
Korkster
Apols for lack of update - but loving the car! Economy wise work commute had varied between 18mpg to 24mpg. Best I have seen DIS reading is 31mpg on a mix of 30-50mph roads

Risky
We've just traded in an 07 S5 for a 10 S4 Avant and I think the S4 can manage better MPG on a long motorway run (up to 30 using the cruise control), but if been booted about can drop into the mid-high teens, though the S5 wasn't much better on the same roads. Then again my allroad is about as bad!
Korkster
Hi KorksterWhere are the pictures AZ Hey Azure...pics all on my phone, havenn't had chance to transfer to computer. Been really busy with work. Car is superb tho...getting used to the S-Tronic. Loving the colour too and it requires less wahing than my phantom black A4 :-) In response to post above re econ...best seen was 30.1mpg but constantly get between 18 and 24 on work run dependant on traffic. The 3D nav is pretty cool when it has buildings to show too. The bluetooth interface works well but does not pick up my phone book unfortunately. Hill hold assist is useful but have to admit dont use always...it does at times have a metallicy/ clunky noise when moving off after its done it thing.
