rottenbend
A few months ago the nearside DRL lamp on my wife's A6 allroad began to play up. It worked intermittently throwing an error on the dash and then failed completely. Probably serves me right for speccing them but you can't get Xenons without them. Took it into the local dealer who replaced the whole headlamp unit under warranty. At the time I asked them if it was a common problem and they said no. I even asked them to replace both units but they declined. Now the offside unit has failed as well... This time (reading between the lines) it seems that they have had major problems with DRLs failing. Anybody else had this experience or know of others who have? Could be one to watch out for like the auxiliary rads issue on the B6 S4? Edited August 5, 2010 by rottenbend
DanG
No issues here, but car is only a month or so old. Standard fit these days on the S-Line. Love them, particularly at dusk.
aj84
I came across this same issue on another forum If you google: Known issue with LED daytime running lights ... the first thread should point you to it. There is no info no it but apparently the poster is saying it is or seems to be a known issue by Audi.
