Calm Chris
The car now has 4 x PS3's :D Can I clear the tyre deflated warning message, or will it always show error due to not having runflats installed ? Used Costco, but be aware that they will refuse to put non runflats on a run flat car unless you provide them with an official statement from BMW ! Whilst writting I'd like to thank Steven james Enfield for producing a letter for Costco and also there prompt service when it was realsied that the fecking locking nut key wasn't in the car. CarMad
BMW's use the rotation of the wheel / ABS sensor to detect a flat tyre, mine never came up with any message when they were changed. Check they are all inflated to the same pressure first then give it a quick run I'd say, unless that is yours has some sensors in maybe?!?! Tipex
If the tyres are inflated, it shouldn't make any difference to the tpms wether they are run flats or not.
NewNiceMrMe
I've got non RFs of the 6. Simply reset the Tyre Pressure monitor via iDrive. Doesn't the 1 have the same?
fatcat
Anyone with an iDrive on a 1'er must have more money than sense !!!! Mine can be reset easily on the left hand stalk - takes a few seconds.
Calm Chris
Sorted way back when.. 1st time reset via stalk didn't work, drove it again and reset worked, warning lights gone and far better set up. No Idrive.
