Had a day in brum yesterday.

MPH / Top gear show was tbh quite disappointing, limited appeal on the stands, some nice exotica but nothing really mind blowing, Top Gear show was good, I guess as youd expect althopugh I think some of the driving stunts could have used a bigger stage area. Paddock pass upgrade wasnt really worth the extra cost (I'm assuming it cost more I didnt pay), as it was rammed with people and you couldnt really get up close to anything.

Stand of the day in MPH belonged to These Guys - very nice basic stand, but good info, well organised and what was on display was relevent. Only -ve was The babes on this stand were a bit blokish.... But well worth a visit to the site.

Classic car show was as usual top peice of work, some fab cars on display right across the board from the ultra expensive Fezzas through to Fiestas and Novas that look like they have never seen a road in their life. The Meguiars stand had some great examples of fairly clean cars..... Some nice rare sights though and this definately made the day worth attending.

Classic Car show stand of the day was These Guys who again had a nice basic display giving you just what you wanted and the gear definately looks good, as with above definately dodgy birds on the stand when I was there. I understand these have a compo currently running on their web site so again worth a trip.

Day out rating 8/10 as I loved drooling at the Classic stands - if it were TG/MPH then it would drop to 5/10.

Having taken Mook Jnr to the London version twice over the past few years I've got to agree. The show was great first time but was just a repeat two years later but with different cars. The whole stands thing wasn't worth it IMO. Apart from the live Land Rover stand with pax rides around their indoor off road course - awesome!
