First got esp light on dash, climate control turns off and indicators did not register on dash but did work.(started intermittent but now all the time) replaced brake switch as suggested ..no effect 2. key fob stops opening door, opened car(well my father did as i was away) manually, alarm sounded i believe. No sign of water on inside. and belive it is a vcds cable (borrowed cable but it had WWW.VCDS site label on it) The indicators flash double speed constantly as soon as i connect the battery, no way i can turn them off which makes the car undrivable. Car starts no prob at all(i've had to disconnectthe siren to stop annoying the neighbours and me!!) I've also noticed that my total closure via doorlock and one touch window closure and computer are innactive. I think i've read every thread there could be now (yes i am getting very stressed and trying to avoid dealers at all costs!) Kinda leads me to Steering wheel control module( as per the common faults when people add cruise) or could it ne the infromation/power isn't getting to the modules? craigyb Posted March 16, 2011 Report Share Posted March 16, 2011 As petrolDave stated the scan is very short, no engine, abs or gearbox information etc. ESP is the traction control, so I would expect the ABS/engine/gearbox to show an issue I think the J519 is a red herring as that only does the headlights/sidelights/indicators etc Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Alarm problem sorted out but ESP still on, no indicators recording on dash and climate control still off...... Any ideas? Steering control module?
