cruiser647 Posted January 23, 2011 Report Share Posted January 23, 2011 The ones I have fitted on the Audi are aftermarket, as they sit in the bumper and not in the bumper valance. 4 black dots on silver bumper - not too bad. However, it bleeps. A lot. I ignore it until the bleeps get more frequent. Not sure if it's dirt or the previous bod had it set on 'extra sensitive'. eldavo69 Posted January 23, 2011 Report Share Posted January 23, 2011 I did it myself on the wife's A4. About £35 for a decent kit, £10 for some touch up paint in a can. Sprayed the sensors, boot carpet out, bumper off, holes are premarked on the back of the bumper, drilled with included hole saw, zip-tied cable run inside bumper and fed wires in through a grommet, stuck control box to inside of rear wing and wired up to ground and the reverse light, reassembled. Can post pics tomorrow if required but it looks very tidy and if you didn't know what OEM sensors looked like you'd assume it was factory fit.
