Hi Wayne, hope your well, didnt realise Riz had your Ex Car,I knew it was pristine, but not that pristine!! Sold my second one in Midnight Blue HG04 VFX with 734 miles on the clock (Anyone know where it is?)..........one sale I still regret apart from the MK1 GTI.......I have an order in for an RS3 which I have cancelled and they have talked me back into the allocation slot, but I am adamant that I am going to have to drive one before even considering buying,as I am too fat for five doors these days FFS! No wouldnt consider "Jenny Craig, fat fighters & Co" they can "Sex & Travel"

The other thing is that all RS3 orders are now in major delay, unless ibis white due to the supply issue with metallics from sole supplier in Japan, the other fly in the ointment is that it looks like the next Golf R will have the 2.5 five pot engine, as it is in the Nurburing 24 hour Golf Car, in June, so you would have to think they are going to fit it in sooner rather than later, as well as 35th Golf anniversary comin up...........now wouldnt that be sweet..........

My ideal motor right now, would bea 3 Door Golf R with 5 pot, would be simply awesome, so delay in RS3 deliveries may be a blessing in disguise we will see.............great to hear from you mate.....keep up the posts!

Hi Ash,

Yeah Riz's R was looked after like a child... My White one was even better...sorry Riz.... However after some really shite treatement from the dealer and VWUK they won't be getting my money again in a hurry...+++

The current R model doesn't do anything for me in any of the colours and to lose the V6 from it pants!!!

Audi on the otherhand have been fantastic and the current cars we have are great to. The S3 is really nice to drive and the wife loves it. :)

Yeah read about the supply issues on the RS3 but I'm in no hurry for it and prepared to wait, the TTRS I test drove put me on to the RS3 as this will be more practical than the TTRS.

My spec:

Suzuka Grey

RS Buckets

CD Changer

Piano Black trims

Black Style pack

Standard alloys (not the red ones)

Heated rear seats.

Parking sensors

Rear blinds

Load pack

Folding mirrors

High Beam assist

Bose

Phone prep

Cruise

Load Mat

Privacy Glass

So a comprehensive spec , also toying to add the leather bits to the door handles and centre consol.

Bring it on....

Spooky! Same spec as one I ordered apart from the buckets.........to "Chunky" for any length of time sat in them for me, my better half drives a 60 plate S3 and absolutely loves it, but to be fair the Golf R, is just a much better drivers car, and the steering is just so sharp compared to the S3.

I couldnt agree more about VW stealers they are feckin crap, I have spent a shed load of money with my local one, as we also buy all our T6 vans of them, but the car side are absolute muppets and there commercial sales manager a twenty four carat tosspot, I would never buy a car off him again.......and my Audi stealer is absolutely top notch, no complaints whatsoever about them, nothing is to much trouble............I almost went for a TTRS that engine is nothing short of superb, but as you say just not practical enough, the missus had a TTS which was okay, but just felt fidgety on the road, it did have 19"s TBF, but just to impractical on a day to day basis............it looks like a long wait for the RS3.......2012 FFS!
