loafer27
Anyone got or tried one of the A4's in the 120 ps variety? I've noticed the majority of the 1.8 TFSI's for sale are the 120 instead of the 160 Just wondering if anyones got an input on how gutless they are or aren't
Biscuits
Wow... Not sure its the same lump anymore, but 120bhp is vary conservative. Back in the B5-7 days they were pumping out 150/180 in the non hot models! Maybe a wise purchase if a remap unlocks all the hidden potential. Drop Shark Performance a line and ask, Ben will know for sure.
loafer27
Yeah thats what im afraid of its going to be heavier than my A3 and less than half the power I guess the only way to find out is go for a test drive but i hate having the salesman along for the ride
thetroublemaker
i had one as a loan car, 2011 model s line and to be fair it was very economical however it was very very slow. this is not helped by "diesel" gear ratios (30mph per 1000 in top, 25mph per 1000 in 5th) made it feel gutless. of course, a remap may well resolve this well!
