PaulGOz
Hi All, My S3 with the xenon lights which are fantastic have a little problem. The light beam definetly bounces around due to hitting a bump in the road this is quite annoying they seem to be lose on the car, I have never experienced this in any other car, am wondering if it is a trait of the auto beam adjustment? Does anyone else experience this problem? I am about to get Audi to check it under warranty. Thanks in advance.
Sven
Strange, IMO you should get a warning light if the auto level doesn't work. So I guess it's a lamp that's come loose. Don't wait, Xenons are expensive to replace...

The S3 Xenon's normally move a little bit when you hit a bump, more of a sort of flicker up and down a bit, but they settle very quickly (say less than half a second). I've had two now and it was the same on both. Problems with the self levelling are common though, in my first the sensor had to be replaced as the lamps would decide to point right down at the floor - normally when doing something like a hard corner etc (not triggered by a bump though). In my current S3 the link between the motor and the bulb assembly came loose leading to one of the lamps pointing right upwards.

PaulGOz
Thanks guys, they only shake a little on bumpy roads which we have plenty of in AUS, I guess i will have to live with it to an extent. I will see what Audi has to say under warranty and see if they can tighten it up a little. I had a quick look but it is all to tight in that engine bay.
