Twinspark
Just been digging through some old 35mm photos, and found these which I uploaded for a Man. United forum I frequent - but I thought they may be interesting to a wider audience. This is probably the biggest name youth side of all time - it launched the careers of Giggs, Butt, G. Neville, Beckham, Robbie Savage and Keith Gillespie - as well as some lesser well known players, Ben Thornley, Simon Davies and Pilkington in goal. The final was played over 2 legs, with United beating Crystal Palace 6-3 on aggregate. Amazing to see Old Trafford back then - with the Stretford End being re-developed, capacity was down to around 35k, or less than half what it is today!
