CactusGreen
Aylesbury Audi (Keith's)keep great hours - something like 08:00 to 20:00! But I know this is done using several shifts of people - and some are better on older gen cars the others on the new - I always check which crew is on to match the age of my car. Service generally good - but they can be a little keen on new parts rather than finding the faults Parts guy is great - very helpful.

I haven't needed to pay for anywork on my cars for the last 3.5 years [touchwood] but 120 an hour seems painful

shao_khan
£120 an hour seems to be quoted quite often - criminal rate - a guy in the office was quoted that to look at performance problems with his 1.8T auto Passat, not Keiths BTW. They diagnosed faulty gearbox = £2k + to remedy as out of warrenty. I diagnosed duff MAF which funnily enough cured the problem!!!!!! Which leads to the question - £120 per hour for what, at that rate you would expect expertise surely..........
