News_Stig
Was browsing the car websites, when I happened across this..... Anybody interested in this? Even at £108K +! Maserati has unveiled the seventh edition to its Granturismo model line-up: the Maserati Grancabrio MC. Based on the range topping Granturismo MC Stradale coupé, it uses the same 4.7-litre V8 engine, developing 454 bhp and 384 lb ft. In a nod to its grand touring role, the Grancabrio MC will use a six-speed ZF automatic gearbox in place of the Stradale’s aggressive robotised manual. It will also come with seating for four, where the Stradale was a strictly two-seater affair. The main aesthetic change from the regular Grancabrio is the addition of a large rear boot-lid spoiler, for reduced lift at high speeds. Painted as standard in the body colour, it is optionally available in a bare carbonfibre finish. The car is 48mm longer than the standard Grancabrio, thanks to the more aggressive aero package from the MC Stradale. A number of customisation packages will be available when the car arrives in UK showrooms early in 2013. Prices have yet to be confirmed, but expect a small increase over the current Grancabrio Sport, which starts at £103,875.
