Reed777 Posted December 19, 2012 Report Share Posted December 19, 2012 Right first one of two: when idling the car seems to pulse not a lot maybe half a little notch or so but still is that a problem I was assured it wasn't I just want to get your thoughts on it? Cuprabob Posted December 19, 2012 Report Share Posted December 19, 2012 I assume you are talking about the plastic undertay collapsing as they don't have sumpguards which is reinforced by the number of. Owners who have holed sumps on the MK4 Uneven idle could be anything from a vacuum leak to a dirty MAF. 1st thing to do is connect it to vagcom / vcds and see what error codes, if any, are read.
