Booster
You could pick a new one up for less than £50k..... Sign the bit of paper in its way in the post from me today and I will pay for it for you and you can pay me back over three years. Deal!!
Andy_Bangle
It's not even a new model - it's just the existing model, which they can't shift, sprinkled with extras many of which should have been standard in the first place for example: The “Sports Pack”. This includes a sports mode for sharper throttle response, an increased rev limit, a sportier setting for the Dynamic Performance Management (DPM) stability control system, a rear diffuser and cross-drilled brake discs. Where's the extra power?
patently
Booster - I'm ok with every part of that deal except this bit: you can pay me back I suppose you're going to tell me that's one of the "not negotiable" bits?
theduisbergkid
@Patently, Booster's a bit old-fashioned about stuff like that, although it might explain why he wafts around in cool stuff while I ride a 2nd hand pushbike to work. This Evora though, it's a bit of a non-story, like Bangle says. Still fabulous machines though and very much top of my list. I wonder how much I'll get as trade in on this bike ? You can't get a 'new' one for £50k, but you might get a 6-12 month old low spec one for that. Sports Pack is standard on the Evora S. I've only ever seen 2 base models advertised without it and not having it is a pain for resale - should have been standard on both (for MY12 it is in the US and some other regions, but not Europe for some reason). Booster
You can get £15k off an Evora as an opening offer before any negotiation!! Ask Patently!
Thorburn
You can get £15k off an Evora as an opening offer before any negotiation!! Ask Patently! £15k off still wouldn't take you to £50k for a fully specced Evora S. List price is about £72k. There were a couple franchises trying to shift 'new' MY11 cars with delivery mileage at optimistic prices at the end of last year/start of this year which then slashed the prices massively once the MY12 cars started to arrive and they were stuck with them on their forecourts. I still keep an eye on 2010 Evora prices, but spent too much on the Elise this year to seriously consider changing now.
patently
It was an Evora, not an Evora S, and yes they were delivery mileage 2011 cars sitting forlornly on the forecourt looking lonely and in need of a home
