Tipex
No it was definitely red, I remember him trying to do a burnout at the hotel in Belgium and failing.
Soapsuds
No - it was silver, and to be fair to Rich, he brought the Supra that had head gasket failure after a "sprint" down the M1. So he went and grabbed the Fezza out of the showroom where it was being sold. See:
Soapsuds
Well, i have a pass-out for this now, so all good. Chances are I wont have a car...... so will be passenger. Or i do have a 1993 Mx-5 parked in the garage, but this is the missus' pride and joy.... Still, plenty of time. So, count me in

Soapsuds
Who was in the red one then? Feck knows mate - i don't remember a red one. I do remember tanking through the cloud of tyresmoke though coming from the Shell garage.....!! So i know what you mean. Was it 2006, or a different year?? Tipex
2006 I think, there was marginally less p1ss taking in the cars that showed up after that, apart from Mook.
Soapsuds
Deffo dont remember a red one that year. I do remember Rich coming out of the Dorint at breakfast in just his jeans, still pissed, starting up the 360 to "warm up" then going back into his room to grab his bags. Myself and Carlos were pretty much last to leave and his fezza was still ticking over in the car park. Apparently he had passed out in bed on return to his room and forgot about the car!! Which was still ticking over 2 hours later!! Then, they set the sat nav for Boulogne Sur Mer - but the one in South France, not North France, hence they only just made the ferry back after heading south for nearly 2 hours! Most amusing. I'm sure there will be no such antics on this trip...... Look forward to it

Plenty of time to sort a suitible motor this time, although a '93 MX-5 would be good I could have swore that Ferrari was red ! Rich whats-'is-name did well to by one from a showroom 'on the spot' that already had his initials on the reg plate A fair few have signed up now, looking good, I can't wait. billy2shots
Just checking, a modern Toyota Hilux doesn't qualify by some reason or other does it? Still rolling on leaf springs and a ladder chassis. I'm guessing no. .....
theduisbergkid
Sorry, Billy, that's a no for the Hilux. However, you've plenty of time to beg, borrow or steal somethig suitable, or chuck a couple of hundred quid at something off EBay.

theduisbergkid
No worries, bear in mind that there may well be spare seats in some of the cars going, talk nicely to some of the others and you might end up navigating
